Meet Cassandra Fenske

About Me

I first became a Travel Agent back in 2016 when I had only traveled a few times and only to two different counties, not counting my own, and never as a solo traveler. With my passion for helping people and my creative nature, creating bucket list itineraries with my clients became something I absolutely adored. Working with different types clients and learning to understand what makes meaningful memories for each of them, then making plans to scratch off an item on someone's bucket list give me such joy and pride in my profession. 

When it came time for me to book my own trips, I set out to places I'd never dreamt of going before my time in the industry. I traveled to places like Peru, Nicaragua and Jordan. I have now snorkeled in the Red Sea and slept on an island of volcanos. Travel has enriched my life more than words can describe and has led me to this beautiful and unique lifestyle I live now. 

Deciding to take a summer off working as a travel agent in 2019 to moving back to my home province of British Columbia, after living in the big and colourful city of Toronto for 4 years, I found myself working at a remote fishing lodge in the Discovery Islands, nestled between Vancouver Island and the mainland, north of Desolation Sound. Here I found a piece of life I had longed for. The rugged landscape and quick moving waters, the small community and being completely surrounded by nature has fueled me in new and exciting ways. 

Fast-forward to today, the end of 2024 looking into the bright future of 2025. I am so grateful to say I can live in this pristine and remote location and still work with people from all walks of life, to touch on different corners of the earth. 

I anticipate great things in the years to come as I build my business based on a few key factors.

• I love this wild world we live in & it makes me excited to share its beauty with my clients. Whether it’s heading back to your hometown to be with family, traveling to a sunny destination to reconnect with yourself and have quality time with loved ones, or to explore solo and go on great and epic adventures, I want to be part of all these journeys!

• I love my community. I believe community is vital for a full life and I am dedicated to engagement and networking withing my small island communities and beyond, also my vast and knowledgeable colleagues through the travel profession.

Coming back to the travel industry, after the united experience of the covid pandemic, I see a vitality in people who don’t want to wait any longer, who want to explore and connect, who see the value in unhurried and mindful travel.

Travel has never been more impactful as we reshape what community means to each of us. It is important to do it both earnestly and safely.
